A US woman had a lucky escape when a burglar’s bullet bounced off the metal underwire in her bra. Police in the city of Detroit said one of three intruders fired a shot when the woman looked out of her window and saw them raiding the house next door.
The bullet smashed the window and hit her, but instead of causing serious injury – or worse – it was deflected off the wiring in her bra. The unnamed 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital and released the same day.

Ms. Ferrell lied about her job, told her friends she was dying of cancer, and is in Salt Lake City’s most wanted list for stealing $60,000.
If any of my friends remember our old friend Ru, you’ll notice the similarities in their lies. Ru would hang out in the art building and tell everyone he was in a non-existing upper level design class. He wanted everyone’s sympathy so he told people he was dying from cancer. I think Ru owed money from people too. Yikes, these people!

A five-centimeter fir tree has been found in the lung of a man who complained he had a strong pain in his chest and was coughing blood. “It was the needles poking the capillaries. “It really hurt a lot. But I never felt like I had an alien object inside of me.”
It is obvious that a five-centimeter branch is too large to be inhaled or swallowed, doctors say. They suggest that the patient might have inhaled a small bud, which then started to grow inside his body.
What’s crazy is that the article doesn’t say if the patient was OK. Yikes!

Beatles music producer, Phil Spector was found guilty of second degree murder in the shooting of an actress at his mansion six years ago.
The six-man, six-woman jury began deliberating on March 26 after a five-month court case following his first trial in 2007 that ended deadlocked with jurors unable to agree on a unanimous verdict.
Prosecutors said Spector had shot dead former B-movie actress Lana Clarkson at his home in the early hours of February 3, 2003 after meeting her only a few hours before at the Hollywood nightclub where she worked.
